The cork powder is the main component of the casting mould. It forms an insulating layer between the surface of the mold and the casting alloy. 

The crystallization speed of slow alloy liquid is used to solidify the casting parts evenly. It can also prevent the direct contact of casting surface and alloy liquid, prevent mold and metal adhesion, get the surface smooth casting.
